Fastly and LALIGA announced a collaboration to develop technical solutions against illegal streaming of live sports. The project focuses on LALIGA matches with piracy estimated to cost clubs $700 million to $800 million annually. Fastly contributes its edge cloud platform and AI-driven security capabilities. The partnership builds on Fastly's prior security revenue growth of 47 percent year over year in Q1 2026. LALIGA is Spain's Professional Football Association.
