Worldline and Klarna signed a framework agreement on May 19, 2026 to integrate Klarna’s buy-now-pay-later options into Worldline’s Global Collect, GoPay, and point-of-sale terminals. The phased rollout begins with online payments and expands to physical stores across Europe. Worldline will handle backend transactions and merchant onboarding for businesses of all sizes. Markus Frei, Head of Worldline Acquiring Services, and David Sykes, Chief Commercial Officer at Klarna, both issued statements on the deal. The partnership leverages Worldline’s position as Europe’s largest card acquirer.
