CEO Eoghan McCabe announced on May 12 2026 that Intercom changes its company name to Fin. The Intercom brand continues as the customer service software platform with a full rebuild released as Intercom 2. Fin the AI customer agent platform released in 2023 now drives the majority of growth and accounts for roughly a quarter of the $400 million ARR. Eoghan McCabe stated the AI agent is about to become the largest part of the business.
