Cursor Valuation Rose from $2.5 Billion in Early 2025 to Nearly $30 Billion by End of 2025

Cursor, built by Anysphere, reached nearly $30 billion valuation by December 2025 after starting at $2.5 billion in early 2025. The company accumulated $2 billion ARR by February 2026 with over half the Fortune 500 as customers. In April 2026 xAI secured rights to acquire Cursor for $60 billion or pay $10 billion for joint development work. Cursor launched its own Composer model in November 2025 to reduce dependency on Anthropic models.
