CoreWeave announced CoreWeave Sandboxes on May 14, 2026, delivering secure isolated environments for reinforcement learning, AI agent tool use, and model evaluation at scale. The Python SDK enables creation of sandboxes with session management and storage integration, available on-cluster via CoreWeave Kubernetes Service or serverless through Weights & Biases integration. IBM Research and Mistral AI researchers confirmed use for thousands of parallel sandboxes per training step and hundreds of concurrent CPU/GPU jobs. CoreWeave Sandboxes integrates with Weights & Biases for serverless access without infrastructure provisioning.
