New Metaview research from the 2026 AI & Hiring Alignment Report finds 58% of recruiters and hiring managers want to work around each other. The 505-respondent study shows teams where AI is core to hiring were 3.8x more likely to rate the partnership as excellent. 90% of recruiters and hiring managers say their working relationship is good or excellent, yet 58% quietly wish they could work around each other. Teams with high alignment exceed business goals at 79%, compared with 36% for teams with low alignment.
