Palo Alto Networks Introduces Idira Next-Generation Identity Security Platform

Palo Alto Networks unveiled Idira, the next-generation identity security platform built for the AI enterprise on May 12, 2026. Idira delivers modern privileged access management by democratizing security controls for every human, machine, and agentic identity and eliminates identity silos. The platform is generally available with additional capabilities planned later in the year and builds on the completed CyberArk acquisition. Idira marks an expansion of Palo Alto Networks' platform strategy into identity security alongside network security and security operations.
