Payoneer Extends Upwork Partnership to Support Global Freelancer Payouts

Fintech Singapore reported on May 15, 2026 that Payoneer extended its 15-year partnership with Upwork. Payoneer remains the wallet and direct-to-local-bank payout partner for international Upwork customers across Africa, Asia Pacific, Europe, Latin America, and the Middle East. Upwork serves as a design partner to explore stablecoin-enabled payouts for faster fund access in Latin America and other emerging markets. The partnership also connects Upwork's global talent pool with Payoneer's SMB clients. Payoneer reaches 190 countries and territories through nearly 100 banks and payment service providers.
