Ranger Finance co-founder Barrett Williams stated on May 14, 2026, that the project is winding down after delayed funding, treasury liquidation, and the Drift exploit left it unable to cover all payments. The shutdown follows a turbulent MetaDAO launch where $RNGR holders voted to liquidate Ranger’s treasury and return remaining funds to tokenholders.
