MongoDB Announces €74M Ireland Expansion Creating 200 New Roles

MongoDB announced a €74 million investment in Irish operations on April 23, 2026 focused on engineering, AI development, and operational growth. The expansion includes a new office in Cork and aims to grow the Irish hybrid workforce by more than 50 percent by 2027, adding approximately 200 roles in engineering, product, and customer-facing teams. CJ Desai, President and Chief Executive Officer of MongoDB, stated Ireland is an important market with exceptional talent. The announcement was welcomed by Minister Peter Burke.
