Boomi announced it has signed a letter of intent to acquire Lunar.dev on May 13, 2026. The acquisition targets Lunar.dev’s AI and MCP gateway technology to enhance governed agent connectivity. The deal is expected to enrich the Boomi Enterprise Platform and Boomi Connect capabilities for scaling AI usage. Steve Lucas, Chairman and CEO of Boomi, stated the move gives customers control over AI, data, and application interactions. The proposed acquisition is expected to close within 30 to 40 days.
