SAP SE is investing in workflow automation platform n8n, doubling the startup’s valuation to $5.2 billion. SAP is signing a multiyear deal to embed n8n’s tools inside its AI agent builder Joule Studio. n8n, founded in 2019 in Berlin by Jan Oberhauser, provides open workflow orchestration for technical teams combining no-code, low-code, and pro-code approaches with over 400 native integrations. The partnership positions n8n as the backbone for agentic AI across SAP’s 400,000+ enterprise customers on the Business Technology Platform.
