Tiger Data Launches TimescaleDB Enterprise for On-Premises and Edge Deployment

Tiger Data announced the launch of TimescaleDB Enterprise on April 20, 2026, a commercially licensed self-managed time-series database. The product targets on-premises, edge, and customer-managed cloud environments and is built on PostgreSQL. Early access was made available via a waitlist with general availability planned for later in 2026. Tiger Data also announced a strategic alliance with Inductive Automation to modernize the industrial historian market.
