SpacetimeDB ran benchmarks on PlanetScale's HA test using the PlanetScale Metal M-15630 cluster with 512 total vCPUs and default configuration settings. The test cost five hundred dollars just to run on the $67,349 per month cluster. PlanetScale single-node deployment with 32 vCPUs and the HA cluster both fell around 4 to 4.5k transactions per second. SpacetimeDB benchmark results placed PlanetScale HA cluster throughput at 4,275 TPS on the M-15360 cluster with 192 vCPU.
