Akamai achieved 40 percent year-over-year revenue growth in its Cloud Infrastructure Services segment during Q1 2026 following 45 percent growth in Q4 2025 when segment revenue reached $94 million. On May 7, 2026 Akamai secured a seven-year $1.8 billion commitment from a leading frontier model provider, its largest customer deal to date. Akamai raised its full-year 2026 CIS growth outlook to at least 50 percent in constant currency and projects this segment to drive double-digit company revenue growth in 2027. Akamai Connected Cloud supplies the distributed virtual machines, storage, and serverless compute for these gains.
