Zoho Corporation Invests ₹70 Crores in ONDC for Sovereign Tech

Zoho Corporation announced an investment of ₹70 crores, around US$7.3 million, in the Open Network for Digital Commerce (ONDC) on May 13, 2026. Sivaramakrishnan Iswaran, CEO of Zoho Payment Technologies and Global Head of Finance and Operations BU at Zoho, stated the move supports MSMEs by improving market access and aligns with building sovereign technology for accessibility and inclusion. ONDC enabled 218 million transactions in FY 2025–26, with mobile orders rising to 11.2 million from 3.77 million retail orders previously. Zoho previously launched Zakya retail solution and Vikra eCommerce app on the ONDC network in 2024.
