OpenRouter released three upgrades to its Bring Your Own Key feature on May 15, 2026. The updates allow users to add multiple keys for the same provider in one workspace and set the order they are tried in for rate limit rotation. Key filters lock each key to specific models, users, or app parts while priority versus fallback tiers let keys run before or after OpenRouter shared endpoints. OpenRouter official account posted the announcement with 214 likes and 17 reposts.
