Cerebras Systems completed its IPO on May 14, 2026 raising $5.5 billion. Shares priced at $185 and doubled upon opening for a fully-diluted valuation over $56 billion. Ian Crosby's startup Synthetic secured a $10 million seed round from Khosla Ventures, Basis Set Ventures, and Tobias Lütke for autonomous AI bookkeeping. Microsoft pivoted from Anthropic’s Claude Code to its proprietary GitHub Copilot CLI on May 14, 2026.
