LangChain Launches LangChain Labs Applied Research Effort with Harvey, NVIDIA, and Others

Harrison Chase, LangChain co-founder, launched LangChain Labs on May 14, 2026, as an applied research initiative focused on continual learning for agents using traces, feedback, and eval results. Initial partners include Harvey, NVIDIA, Prime Intellect, Fireworks, and Baseten, with early work on cost/latency tradeoffs, evaluation environments, prompt optimization across models, and harness engineering such as fine-tuning Nemotron. Labs will publish research, evals, and open-source integrations for the broader agent community.
