Otto Aerospace Announces PDR Completion for Phantom 3500 on May 13, 2026

Otto Aerospace announced on May 13, 2026 the successful completion of the Preliminary Design Review for its Phantom 3500 business jet. The review was conducted during the last week of February at the company’s future home in Jacksonville, Florida. President and CEO Scott Drennan said the Phantom 3500 has crossed the threshold from a promising concept to an aircraft the company is preparing to build and fly. CTO Kyle Heironimus stated completing PDR reflects more than a year of disciplined work by the Otto team, suppliers, and development partners. The company plans first flight of Flight Test Vehicle 1 in 2027.
