Nebius Acquires Eigen AI for $643 Million to Optimize AI Inference

Nebius acquired Eigen AI, a leading inference and model optimization company, for around $643 million paid in cash and Nebius shares. The deal integrates Eigen AI technology into the Nebius Token Factory for production-efficient inference on open-source models. Roman Chernin, co-founder and Chief Business Officer of Nebius, stated the acquisition addresses capacity scarcity for AI builders needing optimized inference. Meta locked in an up to $27 billion AI capacity deal with Nebius.
