Doubleword, an 11-person London startup, raised 9.5 million USD in seed funding on May 15 2026. The round supports development of AI inference technology that targets 100x annual cost reduction. Meryem Arik serves as cofounder and CEO. Doubleword previously operated as TitanML and received UK Sovereign AI Unit support last month with up to one million GPU hours allocated.
