On 13th May, RDIF announced a ₹105 crore allocation to Dhruva for “Project Garud”. Project Garud is an audacious attempt to create India’s first mass production platform for 500 kg satellites. The 4 co-founders of Dhruva Space have spent the last 14 years building this company. It took them 6 yrs to raise their first external funding and 10 yrs to launch their first satellites on ISRO’s PSLV.
