Reuters reported on May 20, 2026, that Lambda secured a cloud contract with Hudson River Trading to rent more than 1,000 NVIDIA Blackwell systems for AI compute in trading research. The deal uses Lambda's pre-purchased and installed NVIDIA hardware in existing data centers rather than new chip acquisitions. Hudson River Trading previously relied on Alphabet's Google Cloud for NVIDIA chips and holds $12.3 billion in 2025 trading revenue.
