Worldline and Klarna signed a framework agreement on May 19, 2026, to integrate Klarna’s full suite of flexible payments including BNPL across Worldline’s online and in-store points of sale. Worldline will integrate Klarna more deeply into its technology stack including Global Collect and GoPay platforms while acquiring transactions to simplify merchant onboarding. The phased rollout begins this year with online e-commerce in travel and digital verticals followed by in-store POS terminals. Markus Frei, Head of Worldline Acquiring Services, and David Sykes, Klarna Chief Commercial Officer, issued statements on the deal. Worldline reported €4 billion in revenue for 2025 while Klarna serves 119 million users with 3.4 million transactions daily.
