Faros AI analyzed telemetry from 10,000+ developers across 1,200+ teams to assess AI code assistant scaling. The study found PR volumes up 98% with AI tools but delivery velocity remained flat while bugs per developer increased and production incidents became more frequent. Faros AI data across 22,000 developers showed main branch success rates at 70.8 percent, the lowest in five years, and recovery time up 13 percent.
