Global Payments Q1: Worldpay Acquisition Boosts EMEA Revenue

Global Payments reported Q1 2026 results showing Worldpay doubled the scale of its European merchant services business to around €600 million quarterly net revenue. Integration has defined the top four layers of the new global organization structured around SME, enterprise and platforms segments. The company expects full organizational alignment by late summer 2026. Geoffrey Barraclough estimated Global Payments is now larger than Nexi and slightly smaller than Worldline in Europe.
