Siemens Mobility acquires key MERMEC businesses focused on wayside signalling, diagnostics, electrification, and telecommunications. The deal is expected to close by the end of 2026 subject to regulatory approvals. MERMEC businesses generated €430 million in revenue in 2025 and operate in over 70 countries with a facility in Matera, Italy. Siemens Mobility will increase its industrial presence in Italy through the acquisition. Siemens Mobility strengthens its global signalling and diagnostics portfolio via the transaction.
