Shift4 Partners with Lydian to Enable USDT Payment Acceptance for Merchants

Shift4 announced a partnership with Lydian on May 14 2026 to add Tether USDT acceptance to its Pay with Crypto solution. Merchants can now accept USDT payments from any wallet with settlement in local fiat currency and no new workflows required. Shift4 CEO Taylor Lauber stated the integration expands the program to capture stablecoin customers without added complexity. Lydian CEO Carl Grimstad noted the platform makes crypto function like traditional payments at checkout for Shift4's over 200,000 merchants.
