Omnisend launched Model Context Protocol (MCP) on May 12, 2026, enabling merchants to manage campaigns, analyze performance, and create automations directly in ChatGPT using natural language prompts. Features include querying revenue drivers over the last 7 days, recommending next steps, and building reactivation campaigns for customers who have not purchased in 30 days. Bernard Meyer, AI Operations Manager at Omnisend, stated MCP is based on the idea that people do not want another place to work. The tool is available to all active Omnisend account holders worldwide through the Omnisend app in ChatGPT.
