Otto Aerospace Completes Preliminary Design Review for Phantom 3500

Otto Aerospace completed the Preliminary Design Review (PDR) for its Phantom 3500 light business jet on May 13, 2026. The review, conducted in late February at the company's future Jacksonville, Florida facility, froze the aircraft design and advanced the program into detailed engineering and first flight test vehicle construction. The all-composite Phantom 3500 targets super-midsize jet range and cabin comfort in a lighter 19,000-pound package with improved cruise performance. Otto Aerospace advances construction of the first flight test vehicle following the PDR milestone completed in February 2026.
