Meta launches USDC creator payouts on Polygon in past few weeks

Sandeep Nailwal posted on May 16, 2026, that Meta launched USDC creator payouts on Polygon in the past few weeks. The update came alongside Visa adding Polygon to its global stablecoin settlement program and Modern Treasury adding it as a native payments rail. Polygon block time dropped to 1.75s for the first reduction since genesis with gas limit upgraded to 140M equaling max TPS at 3,800.
