Cognition Launches Android Emulator Support for Devin AI Agent

Cognition added Android Virtual Device (AVD) support to Devin on May 13, 2026. Devin can now autonomously build, launch, test, and debug Android apps on its own machine using the emulator. The update completes the full Devin loop for Android development, allowing reproduction of issues, inspection of app behavior, code changes, and verification before review. Cognition CEO Scott Wu previously won three gold medals at the International Olympiad in Informatics.
