Intercom rebrands to Fin and launches Fin Operator AI agent in May 2026

Intercom renamed itself Fin on May 12, 2026 putting its AI customer agent's name on the parent company. Three days later on May 15, 2026 it launched a second AI agent called Fin Operator. Fin Operator manages the original Fin agent for back-office support operations teams. The rebrand and launch occurred within the same week in May 2026.
