Pulumi CEO Joe Duffy announced on May 19, 2026, a bundle of capabilities for the agentic infrastructure era including ephemeral accounts and a new pulumi do command. The updates feature one-shot CLI verbs, a new integration catalog, and Pulumi Cloud features now accessible via terminal. AI agents already drive 20 percent of all operations on Pulumi’s platform up from virtually zero a year ago. Joe Duffy stated that VPs of infrastructure did not think agentic AI and infrastructure belonged in the same sentence one year prior.
