Zscaler completed its acquisition of Red Canary on August 1, 2025. Red Canary CEO Brian Beyer stated the deal combines Red Canary’s 10 years of threat intelligence and agentic AI with Zscaler’s Zero Trust Exchange processing 500 billion daily transactions. Jay Chaudhry, CEO of Zscaler, said the integration delivers unified security operations with automated threat detection, investigation, and response. Red Canary operates initially as a separate business unit within Zscaler to ensure customer continuity. The acquisition was announced in May 2025 and valued around $675 million plus equity.
