Shift4 Payments Partners with Lydian to Enable USDT Acceptance for Merchants

Shift4 Payments and Lydian announced a partnership expanding Shift4's Pay with Crypto solution to support Tether (USDT) payments with settlement in local currency. Merchants can accept USDT from any wallet through existing checkout flows without holding digital assets or new workflows. CEO Taylor Lauber noted the addition captures stablecoin-paying customers amid growing crypto momentum, with the solution already live across thousands of U.S. merchants.
