Sonatype Releases Nexus Repository 3.93.0 Patch Fixing UI Freeze in Community Edition

Sonatype issued Nexus Repository 3.93.0 self-hosted patch release on May 14 2026. The update fixes an issue in prior versions 3.92.0 and 3.92.1 that caused the user interface in Community Edition deployments to freeze and become unresponsive after startup. Additional fixes include npm group repositories reflecting newly published versions in the latest tag immediately without waiting for the 24-hour metadata cache to expire. Sonatype upgraded Nexus Repository from Java 21 to Java 25 requiring all self-hosted deployments from version 3.93.0 onward to update their Java runtime.
