Ashby announced the upcoming launch of its AI Interviewer at the Ashby One conference on May 7, 2026. The feature builds on the late 2025 acquisition of Talent Llama, founded by Adam Stokar and Ben Chaikin, with the team now rebuilding the technology natively on Ashby's platform. The AI Interviewer conducts structured conversational screening interviews, evaluates candidates using transcripts and signals, and integrates results into existing workflows for scheduling and decisions. Recruiting Manager Anna Hall stated that 36% of candidates opted for AI interviews over recruiter screens, and the company extended offers to three candidates who came through that path.
