Dell Technologies announced the Dell Data Analytics Engine powered by Starburst within the Dell AI Data Platform at Dell Technologies World in Las Vegas on May 18, 2026. The engine delivers GPU-accelerated SQL analytics with up to 6x faster query performance on NVIDIA Blackwell GPUs today and planned support for future NVIDIA Vera CPU platforms. It integrates with Dell ObjectScale storage and NVIDIA Omniverse for unified data handling in enterprise AI and agentic workloads. The platform targets more than 5,000 existing AI Factory customers seeking faster insights from traditional analytics and data-intensive agentic AI applications. Michael Dell, chairman and chief executive of Dell Technologies, stated that the advancements help organizations turn data into AI fuel on infrastructure they control with security, governance and cost efficiency.
