MoneyGram joined Tempo as its first remittance validator on May 20, 2026, with Stripe settling payments to MoneyGram on Tempo using stablecoins under the hood. MoneyGram contributes to Tempo's operation, security, and reliability as validator. Tempo, co-developed by Stripe and Paradigm, launched mainnet in mid-March 2026 after $500 million Series A. The partnership advances stablecoin-based settlement across MoneyGram's global network. MoneyGram CEO Anthony Soohoo highlighted the alignment with solving real consumer problems.
