AEVEX Corp. secured an $18.5 million contract from the U.S. Air Force on May 13, 2026, for delivery of autonomous unmanned aircraft systems for One Way Attack missions. The contract covers additive-manufactured Group 3 UAS platforms along with engineering and field services support. AEVEX will execute the work using its U.S. production facilities totaling approximately 100,000 square feet and a workforce of more than 150 personnel across California, Virginia, Ohio, Florida, and Alabama. The platforms incorporate autonomy-enabling frameworks to reduce operator workload and support mission flexibility in contested environments.
