CoreWeave Launches Sandboxes for Secure Agentic AI Workloads
Share the canonical public link.
CoreWeave released CoreWeave Sandboxes in public preview on May 14, 2026, as an execution layer for reinforcement learning, agent tool use, and model evaluation. The service runs isolated sandboxes in Kubernetes pods or as serverless runtime using Kata Containers for hardware-virtualized kernel, filesystem, and network isolation with defined profiles for network policies and resource limits. It integrates with Weights & Biases for lifecycle events, metrics, and traces, and supports CPU sandboxes on GPU nodes alongside SUNK. IBM Research and Mistral have used the system for RL workflows and concurrent sandboxes.
