Payoneer Global Inc. announced on May 14, 2026 an extension of its strategic partnership with Upwork. Payoneer will continue providing wallet and direct-to-local-bank payouts for international Upwork freelancers across Africa, Asia Pacific, Europe, Latin America, and the Middle East. The renewed agreement marks 15 years of collaboration supporting the global freelance economy. Upwork will join Payoneer as a design partner to explore stablecoin-enabled payouts for faster access in emerging markets.
