AntSeed launched a peer-to-peer rival to OpenRouter on May 15, 2026. The network supports twenty providers including frontier models and enables direct access to AI models through decentralized infrastructure with USDC payments settling instantly onchain. AntSeed removes the centralized aggregator, listing approval process, and central off switch present in OpenRouter. Shahaf Antwarg, Co-Founder of AntSeed, stated that OpenRouter and similar aggregators helped define the market for unified AI access.
