Ashby Launches AI Interviewer Built on Talent Llama Acquisition

Ashby announced the upcoming launch of its AI Interviewer at the Ashby One conference on May 7, 2026. The feature builds on the acquisition of Talent Llama closed in late 2025 by founders Adam Stokar and Ben Chaikin. Structured conversational AI interviews integrate directly into Ashby workflows for scheduling, evaluation, and decision-making. Recruiting Manager Anna Hall reported 36 percent of candidates opted into the AI experience and three offers extended to candidates from that path. CEO Benji Encz stated the team became convinced after using it internally in mid-2025.
