Origin Lab raised $8 million in seed funding on May 13, 2026 led by Lightspeed Venture Partners with participation from SV Angel, Eniac, Seven Stars, FPV and angels including Twitch co-founder Kevin Lin and Cruise founder Kyle Vogt. The San Francisco-based company builds a licensed data marketplace that converts video game assets into structured training data for world models and multimodal AI. Co-founders Anne-Margot Rodde, Antoine Gargot and Colin Carrier target the scarcity of high-quality physical-world data for AI systems that understand object movement and interaction. The financing accelerates software development, partnerships with video game publishers and expansion of engineering and research teams.
