Ports of Everett and South Whidbey Launch Harbor Hopper Passenger Ferry Service

The Port of Everett, Port of South Whidbey, and Hat Island Community Association launched the Harbor Hopper passenger ferry service on June 4, 2026. The seasonal pilot program connects Everett and Langley, Washington, with support from Whidbey Telecom as Community Connector sponsor. The service operates as the first passenger-only ferry between the port districts to support regional tourism and test future demand. Inaugural sailing departs from Everett on June 4.
