Anthropic Reinstates OpenClaw on Claude Subscriptions with New Agent SDK Credits

Anthropic reinstated OpenClaw and third-party agent usage on Claude paid subscriptions. The company introduced a new subcategory of Agent SDK credits for all paid subscribers. These credits can be allocated specifically for programmatic uses including external agents such as OpenClaw. Anthropic had prohibited such usage in early April 2026 due to capacity issues. The reversal occurred on May 13 2026.
