Lambda announced a partnership with Hudson River Trading on May 20, 2026, to provide access to NVIDIA HGX B200 systems and full-stack AI infrastructure for quantitative research and trading model development. Hudson River Trading, a New York-based quantitative trading firm with $12.3 billion in 2025 trading revenue, shifts from on-premise infrastructure limits to Lambda's cloud for training models and running large-scale simulations. Gerard Bernabeu Altayo, Compute Systems Lead at HRT, highlighted Lambda's technical depth and operational clarity as key factors. Stephen Balaban, co-founder and CTO of Lambda, stated the firm targets customers needing massive compute for research. Ioana Boier, Global Head of Capital Markets Strategy at NVIDIA, noted the combination of NVIDIA AI Trading Factory with Lambda's cloud accelerates demanding workloads.
